DeKalb County police officers responded to reports of a shooting just before midnight on Thursday. At the scene, they found 42-year-old Omer Mohammed Ahmadi, who had been shot at least once and was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the shooting occurred during an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Authorities are also looking into a possible connection to a road rage incident.
Officers arrested 24-year-old Parke Russell and charged him with murder. Officials have not disclosed how the two men may have known each other.
