Four men arrested in Dover traffic stop, two loaded handguns seized

The Dover Police Department arrested four men and recovered two loaded handguns following a traffic stop on Friday, 18 September, at 10:17 p.m., according to doverpolice.org.
An officer observed a silver Chrysler Town and Country commit a traffic violation while travelling eastbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The vehicle was stopped near Miller Road and Bay Road in Dover, Delaware.
As the occupants exited the vehicle, officers spotted a handgun on the floor behind a rear passenger seat. The firearm — a loaded Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun — was immediately secured. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a second loaded weapon, a Springfield .40-caliber pistol, beneath the driver's seat.
The four suspects taken into custody were identified as Daniel Michel, 21, of Dover; Neshawn Gibbs, 19, of Magnolia; Taron Marsh, 22, of Dover; and Nasir Peace, 19, of Dover.
All four were committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on charges of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (two counts each), on the following cash bonds:
- Daniel Michel: $25,150
- Neshawn Gibbs: $6,000
- Taron Marsh: $24,000
- Nasir Peace: $10,000
