Honomu Man Arrested After Rock-Throwing Attack on Hilo Home and Vehicles

A 21-year-old from Honomu was arrested after allegedly smashing windows at a Hilo residence and two parked vehicles. Bail was set at $30,000.

Honomu Resident Charged Over Violent Domestic Disturbance in Hilo

Hawaiʻi Island police arrested and charged 21-year-old Ayzen Enos of Honomu following an incident on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at a residence on the 100 block of Mohouli Street in Hilo, according to hawaiipolice.gov.

South Hilo patrol officers responded after reports that Enos had arrived at the property and become verbally confrontational with two individuals inside. He then allegedly threw numerous rocks at the residence from outside, breaking multiple windows and causing extensive damage to both the interior and exterior of the building. Two female victims took cover inside as the situation continued.

Enos allegedly went on to throw additional rocks at two vehicles parked at the property, shattering windows and causing further exterior damage.

Detectives from the Hawaiʻi Police Department's Area I Juvenile Aid Section conducted the investigation and formally arrested and charged Enos on Friday, 18 September. His bail was set at $30,000, with an initial court appearance scheduled for Monday, 21 September.
