Former Radio Host Sues NJ Rapper Over Alleged July 4 Sexual Assault at Coney Island Hotel
A former radio show host has filed a civil lawsuit against a New Jersey rapper, accusing him of raping her while she was intoxicated and barely conscious inside a Coney Island hotel room, NY Post Metro reports.
Domonique Hayes, 40, alleges that Keyon Hart, 45 — who performs under the name Snake IIz — sexually assaulted her on July 4, 2025, disregarding her repeated demands that he stop. The complaint was filed September 11 in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Hart allegedly followed the assault by threatening her, bragging about owning a gun and referring to himself as a "pimp," according to the filing. When Hayes confronted him days afterward, he apologized but then told her she had not been raped and had simply come to regret consensual sex, the suit alleges.
"I'm sorry . . . the alcohol got the best of me," Hart allegedly wrote in since-deleted Instagram messages cited in the complaint.
Hart denied the allegations when reached by NY Post Metro. "I deny all of it to be completely honest. None of its true, she's a liar," he said. He claimed messages exist in which Hayes wrote "All I can think about is having sex with you" after the encounter, but did not provide those messages to the outlet. His attorney, Rene Myatt, declined to comment.
Years of Professional Contact
Hayes said she first met Hart in 2016 when she interviewed him about his music for her web-based radio program, PrettygirlsXXX on BlogTalkRadio, while she was based in Florida. After she relocated to New York in 2019, the two became friends, according to the lawsuit.
Hart, a member of the crew affiliated with 90s hip-hop duo M.O.P. known as the "First Family," allegedly maintained Hayes in his circle by promising song collaborations that never came through and by having her model for his clothing brand, Soldi Sporchi — work for which the suit claims she was never compensated. Hart has recorded features with Tupac Shakur and collaborated with Wu-Tang-linked artist Killah Priest, and has more than 70,000 followers on Instagram.
Events of July 4
On the day of the alleged assault, Hayes, Hart and a group of friends — including M.O.P. member Lil' Fame — had spent the Fourth of July celebrating on the Coney Island boardwalk and marking Hart's birthday.
As the gathering wound down, Hayes and Hart went to his room at the nearby Best Western Hotel. Hayes felt comfortable going there, the filing states, because Hart had previously stayed at her home in Queens without ever making any sexual advance.
Hayes had been drinking throughout the day and consumed additional drinks at the hotel while the two watched fireworks around 1 a.m. She began feeling "woozy" and had "trouble keeping her eyes open," the complaint states.
At that point, Hart allegedly pulled down her pants and pressed against her from behind. She pulled them back up and told him, "I'm not doing that with you. Let go of my pants," according to the filing. Minutes later, as she was blacking out, he allegedly pulled her pants down a second time.
From that point she was "in and out of consciousness," the lawsuit states. She alleges she recalled Hart forcibly kissing her, performing oral sex on her and penetrating her.
No Police Report Filed
Hayes never reported the alleged assault to law enforcement. Her civil suit seeks unspecified damages as well as compensation for the unpaid modeling work she did for Hart.
"We stand with our client Ms. Hayes and with all women who have been abused," her attorney Lawrence Pearson told NY Post Metro. "For far too long, men have used promises of work or success to lure women into vulnerable situations where they can exploit them sexually."
