Three men have pleaded guilty to second-degree gang assault in connection with a felony attack on a Kingston resident in May 2025, the Ulster County District Attorney's office announced Monday, as dailyfreeman.com first reported.
Aalajah Deloatch-Williams, Daivon Ramirez-Jackson, and Le'Mar Thomas each entered guilty pleas, accepting responsibility for what District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji's office described as "their roles in the joint attack that left the victim with serious injuries and long-term consequences."
On May 5, 2025, Kingston Police Department responded to a call at Sheehan Court, where they determined that the three suspects ambushed an unsuspecting man walking home from work, striking him from behind. The defendants beat the victim severely, leaving him motionless on the ground before officers arrived and made arrests.
A fourth individual, indicted by an Ulster County Grand Jury in connection with the same assault, remains at large and is actively being sought by law enforcement, officials said.
All three guilty pleas follow a grand jury indictment that charged all four defendants. Sentencing for the three men is scheduled before Ulster County Judge Bryan Rounds on November 30.
Senior Assistant District Attorney Victoria Lang prosecuted the case. The defendants were represented respectively by attorneys Thomas Petro, Saman Soltankhah, and Ray Ragues. The Ulster County District Attorney's Office did not respond to a request for additional details regarding the individuals or further specifics of the crime.
