A 20-year-old woman was arrested Saturday after allegedly chasing and throwing a kitchen knife at a juvenile during a domestic dispute in Vanderburgh County.

Knife thrown at juvenile during Forrest Park Drive dispute

A 20-year-old woman has been charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly throwing a kitchen knife at a juvenile during a dispute in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, 14news.com reports.

Vanderburgh County deputies arrested Fadima Danister on Saturday following an investigation triggered by a 911 hang-up call from an address on Forrest Park Drive.

At the scene, Danister told deputies she had called 911 after an altercation with two juveniles at the home. Investigators established that Danister had been arguing with one of the juveniles and was on top of him, slapping him, when a second juvenile stepped in. Both juveniles then began punching Danister.

Deputies say Danister subsequently chased the juveniles through the home with a kitchen knife and at one point threw the knife at one of them. One juvenile victim was found with a small, fresh cut on his upper arm.

Danister was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail, where she was booked on a charge of domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
