Ottawa police are searching for Alain Therrien, 50, linked to three jewelry store robberies at local shopping centres. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Ca.news.yahoo.com reports that the Ottawa Police Service has released a photo of Alain Therrien, 50, and is asking the public for help locating him in connection with three jewelry store robberies at different shopping centres in September.

The robberies took place on Sept. 11, Sept. 17 and Sept. 22. Attempts to locate Therrien had been unsuccessful as of Sept. 24, according to an OPS media release, which confirmed a first-instance warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Therrien faces three counts each of robbery and mischief over $5,000, as well as one count of failure to comply with a release order.
