Double homicide in Quillacollo mechanics workshop: man arrested after confessing
A man aged between 22 and 24 years was apprehended following the deaths of two women in a mechanics workshop in Quillacollo, Cochabamba. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the Felcc are investigating the case.

Police apprehended a man allegedly involved in the death of two women whose bodies were found in the early hours of Thursday inside a mechanics workshop in Quillacollo, department of Cochabamba, according to eldiario.net.
The suspect, identified as Samuel M.R., aged between 22 and 24 years, worked as a mechanic at the premises for approximately one month. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused was drinking alcohol with the victims moments before the attack.
The crime took place in a room located at the rear of the house. Neighbours in the sector reported hearing a scream around 03:00 in the morning. It was the young man's own parents and partner who alerted the Police to facilitate his surrender.
According to initial police inquiries, an argument stemming from a complaint about a refund of money led to the attack on both women inside the workshop. The suspect was transferred to the Felcc Homicides Division after allegedly confessing to his involvement in the events.
Personnel from the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), the Special Force to Fight Violence (Felcv) and the Institute of Forensic Investigations (IDIF) were deployed at the scene for the removal of the bodies and collection of evidence. The Municipal Comprehensive Legal Service (SLIM) was also present to accompany the relevant proceedings. The Public Prosecutor's Office is coordinating the ongoing investigations.
