According to g1.globo.com, a man sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexual abuse of four children in Sergipe was arrested on Tuesday (22) in Espírito Santo.
According to the Sergipe State Public Security Department (SSP/SE), the crimes took place in 2007 in the municipality of Santa Luzia do Itanhy. After the incidents, the convicted man left the state and came to reside in Espírito Santo.
Based on information provided by the Sergipe Civil Police, teams from the 10th Battalion of the Military Police of Espírito Santo carried out the investigations that resulted in the man's arrest.
According to the SSP/SE, the prisoner remains at the disposal of the Court and is to be transferred to Sergipe's prison system to serve his sentence.
