Seven armed men with fake Civil Police credentials abducted the daughter of a businessman in Barcarena. Two suspects were arrested the following day.

According to reports from g1.globo.com, seven armed and hooded men invaded a residence in Vila do Conde, Barcarena (PA), on Sunday evening, wearing clothes and fake credentials of the Civil Police. Three residents were taken hostage during the operation.
The criminals alleged that there was an arrest warrant against one of the residents. The victim resisted and was beaten with gunshots. Residents of the region reported hearing a gunfire discharge during the invasion.
The businessman's daughter was taken by the suspects in a vehicle. The group began demanding money from the family in exchange for the young woman's release.
On Monday, the Bank Robbery and Anti-kidnapping Suppression Unit arrested two men. Shelldon Roberto Nobre Gouveia was located in Ananindeua; police reported that he was a fugitive from the penal system and is identified as one of those responsible for the crime of extortion through kidnapping. The second detainee, Fábio Baia Fernandes, 38 years old, was captured in Colônia Velha, the rural zone of Abaetetuba.
During the operation, three firearms, ammunition, two ballistic vests, balaclavas, clothes and fake Civil Police credentials, a radio communicator, a mobile telephone and other materials were seized. The items were forwarded to the Police Station of Abaetetuba.
The victim was released on Monday afternoon. The Civil Police reported that investigations continue in order to identify and locate the other individuals involved in the crime.
