Property invasion linked to Milton Leite: vehicle used forged number plate and hard drive was stolen

The Civil Police are investigating who was responsible for the invasion of a property linked to Milton Leite (União), a former councillor and former president of the São Paulo Municipal Chamber, as reported by oglobo.globo.com. Images analysed by the corporation show that a white Hyundai HB20 Sedan was used in the crime — but with an altered number plate.
According to police sources, the number plate installed on the vehicle is linked, in official records, to an HB20 hatch, a different model from the sedan used in the operation. Hours before the invasion, a resident in the Santo Amaro region had filed a police report for the theft of his car's number plate. It was this number plate that the criminals used on the vehicle that arrived at the property.
The invasion occurred at approximately 21:15 on Sunday, as stated in the police report. The car is still being sought by the authorities, but the number plate has already been located. The Civil Police are analysing images from the Muralha Paulista and SmartSampa systems — cameras from the state government and the São Paulo City Council, respectively.
The property is located on Rua General Bráulio Guimarães, in Santo Amaro, South Zone of São Paulo, and is registered in the name of the company Lesimo Sondagens, which has Milton Leite and his ex-wife as partners.
The criminals took the hard drive that stored recordings from the internal security circuit, but left behind R$19,271.00 in cash, as well as documents and bank cards in Leite's name. The case is being investigated by the Special Body for Organised Crime Repression (Cerco), from the 6th Divisional Police Station of São Paulo.
Milton Leite has been in custody since Friday (18), after being targeted by an arrest warrant in the context of Operation Vectura Corrupta. The operation investigates suspicions of infiltration by the faction First Command of the Capital (PCC) in the public transport system of the capital and other municipalities, as well as possible crimes of corruption and money laundering involving bus companies. According to the investigation, Leite would be the real owner of Transwolff, one of the companies identified in the scheme.
In the same operation, another 11 people were detained, totalling 12 arrested, according to police. Among the targets are the president of the Água Santa football club, Paulo Korek; the former president of SPTrans Levi dos Santos Oliveira; and the former candidate for Mayor of Praia Grande Danilo Marco Morgado Silva (PL).
