Former Březina mayor receives fine for fraud and document forgery
Martin Habáň, the former mayor of Březina commune in the Brno region and a former member of the ANO movement, appeared before the District Court in Blansko. The prosecutor accused him of forging official documents of the commune and embezzlement.
He admitted to the charges in court. The judge subsequently imposed a monetary penalty on him. At the hearing, he claimed that his actions were intended to ensure the commune prospered. The case involved, among other things, the purchase of a lawnmower.
