Detectives are investigating a murder in a flat in a panel house in Prague's Chodov district. Police detained the suspected man shortly after the crime. According to Blesk's information, it was a son who killed his father and subsequently turned himself in to police.

A murder occurred in Prague's Chodov district on Friday in one of the flats on the Jižní Město housing estate. Detectives sealed off both entrances to the panel house on Machkova Street and only allowed those who presented identification to enter.
Police operations began around 1 p.m. One of the residents of the building told CNN Prima NEWS that the tragic event took place on the third floor. The Blesk newspaper, citing its sources, reported that the perpetrator murdered his father and then came to report the crime to police himself.
After 3 p.m., police confirmed on the X network that they had detained a man suspected of murder. The public reportedly faces no further risk. The force has not yet released details of the case.
The investigation is continuing.
