The police responded swiftly: the perpetrators of the incident were arrested immediately afterwards. They will soon be summoned before the courts, the Calvados national police specified in a message published on Saturday on Facebook.
The damage is purely material. The Calvados national police nevertheless wanted to emphasise the seriousness of such acts: "Vandalism committed on public buildings, whether in the form of graffiti, stone-throwing or any other act, is not without consequence."
