A teenage foreign national is accused of attacking a woman in the Alimos area, stealing jewellery and money from her, and injuring her on the elbow.
15-year-old arrested for robbery of elderly woman in Alimos
A teenager, aged just 15, is accused of robbery committed against an older woman in the Alimos area. The incident took place on the evening of the previous Sunday.
According to information revealed by the prosecuting authorities, the youth approached the victim whilst she was walking on foot in the area. Using physical violence, he removed a gold chain from her neck and her bag, which contained cash. During the assault, the perpetrator pushed the woman to the ground, resulting in her sustaining an injury to her elbow.
Police officers from the local Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes, following preliminary investigation, managed to locate the perpetrator. They arrested him on the morning of Monday and took him to the competent prosecutor.
