Video footage has come to light showing 49-year-old Alexandros Daskalakis minutes before the fatal attack he suffered in Heraklion, Crete.
In the visual material, which comes from a security camera, the unfortunate man is seen to have gone to a shop to buy coffee and food, in order to deliver them to a worker he had employed. Minutes later, three men are said to have attacked him with a crowbar, resulting in fatal injuries.
Three men, aged 59, 57 and 32, have been arrested in connection with the case, and are accused of the murder of the 49-year-old. Police authorities are continuing their investigation for the full clarification of the circumstances under which the crime was committed.
