An underage student and a 19-year-old were arrested in Moires for collecting a package containing cannabis via an automated parcel locker system.

Police officers from the narcotics prosecution service in Heraklion carried out three arrests in Moires, following an operation on Tuesday afternoon. Two youths, aged 17 and 19, were arrested, along with the mother of the minor.
The 17-year-old student used a digital code to open an automated parcel locker. Inside the package, 175 grammes of raw cannabis and 100 grammes of processed cannabis were found, along with 10 grammes of an unknown chemical substance. The young man claimed the package had been sent by his 19-year-old peer.
Authorities have identified the sender, a 28-year-old who remains at large.
