Eight people were arrested during an extensive police operation in Attica, which aimed at dismantling a criminal organisation that was active in the trafficking of narcotics and weapons.
According to information from the Greek Police, among those arrested are seven men of Albanian origin and one Greek woman. Among them is the person alleged to have led the group.
The investigations by the prosecuting authorities extended to residences and warehouses, where quantities of narcotic substances and ammunition were located and seized. The findings are being evaluated by the competent services.
