Police in Moschato spotted two young men on a stolen motorcycle. Following a 500-metre pursuit and an attempted escape on foot, the suspects were arrested. The motorcycle had been stolen a few hours earlier from the Kallithea area.

Police officers from the DIAS team in Moschato proceeded to arrest two young men who were found to be driving a motorcycle that had been unlawfully taken. According to information from Naftemporiki, the incident occurred around 9 p.m.
The officers spotted the two-wheeler at the intersection of Pindos and Riga Fereou streets and instructed the occupants to stop. The driver, however, ignored the instructions and attempted to drive away at speed.
This prompted a chase of approximately 500 metres through the surrounding streets. The two youths eventually abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee by running, but their pursuers caught up with them and restrained them.
Following the inspection that ensued, it emerged that the motorcycle had been stolen earlier the same day from Kallithea. Charges were filed against the arrested individuals for theft and failure to obey police instructions.
