During an evening check in Ioannina, police officers arrested a 24-year-old Greek man who was carrying a replica pistol and a hood that covered his entire face.

A 24-year-old from the area was taken into police custody during an evening check in the city of Ioannina. He was stopped by OPKE officers who were conducting patrols during night hours.
During the check, police officers found a hood on him that covered his face entirely, as well as a pistol that looked real but was a replica. The weapon was replica type and could not fire.
The young man was arrested for violating weapons laws. He was subsequently taken to the authorities, whilst the local security department of Ioannina took over the investigation of the case.
