Nikaia: 17-year-old arrested for knife robbery
Two minors attacked a 40-year-old man in a public area in Nikaia, threatening him with a knife and grabbing his rucksack which contained 1,000 euros. One perpetrator was arrested, whilst the second has been identified and is being sought.

A 17-year-old teenager was arrested by police officers for armed robbery that took place in a public area of Nikaia, with a 40-year-old man as the victim.
According to police information, the 40-year-old fell victim to an attack by two young individuals. The perpetrators, using a knife threat, removed the victim's rucksack. Inside it was a sum of money totalling 1,000 euros along with personal belongings.
The man who suffered the robbery promptly filed a report at the local police station. The prosecuting authorities launched an investigation, which led to the identification of the two perpetrators through the use of audiovisual material from cameras.
Subsequently, police officers arrested one of the two minors. During the search that was conducted, a small quantity of substances covered by drugs legislation was found in his possession.
His accomplice, also a minor, has been identified and is being sought by the authorities to be brought to justice.
