Eight people are being held in custody following an operation conducted by the Greek Police in the wider area of Attica. According to information from the Greek Police, among those arrested are seven men of Albanian nationality and one woman from Greece.
During searches carried out at residences and warehouses, the preliminary authorities located and seized quantities of substances believed to be narcotics, as well as cartridges.
Among the eight arrested is reportedly an individual believed to have led the group. Investigations are ongoing and official announcements are expected from the Police following the completion of the operation.
