An alert was raised in Santorini following the arrest of a mother for child neglect. Her two minor children were found removing jewellery from a business on the island.
The two minors, who are foreign nationals, entered a shop and removed jewellery. The owner of the business noticed the theft and notified the authorities.
Police proceeded with the arrest of the children's mother, against whom a case file was opened for the offence of child neglect. The children were handed over to their mother following the completion of procedures.
