Police authorities have dismantled a criminal group that robbed jewellery shops across multiple areas of Attica. Prosecuting services have arrested nine suspects, whilst one further accomplice remains at large.

Police authorities have dismantled a criminal group that robbed jewellery shops across multiple areas of Attica. Prosecuting services have arrested nine suspects, whilst one further accomplice remains at large.
The perpetrators would enter the shops, break the protective shutters and seize valuable items in minimal time. They would then hand over the stolen goods to accomplices waiting outside the stores.
The criminal activity extended across many neighbourhoods, including Korydallos, Nikaia and Moschato. Officers estimate that the stolen goods are worth approximately 370,000 euros.
Three of those arrested are already being held in custody following remand. A television station released video footage that recorded the group's criminal activity.
