19-year-old arrested in Ilisia for drug possession and illegal weapon
A DIAS mobile unit arrested a teenager in the Ilisia area. The young man was found in possession of approximately 200 grammes of raw cannabis and a pistol with a magazine.
19-year-old arrested in Ilisia for drug possession and illegal weapon
On the evening of Friday 20 June, police officers from the DIAS mobile unit carried out a check on a young person in the Ilisia area. The teenager, aged 19, caught the attention of the officers because of his behaviour.
During the subsequent check, the officers found in a vehicle in the immediate vicinity a quantity of raw cannabis weighing 201 grammes. At the same time, a pistol with a magazine and ammunition were found in the young man's possession.
The 19-year-old was arrested and is accused of violations of legislation concerning narcotics as well as illegal possession of a weapon. The Constitution Crimes Investigation and Detection Service took over the case file.
The arrested person was brought before the prosecutor.
