Police arrested a 64-year-old kiosk owner in Omonia who is suspected of selling narcotics to customers from inside his shop. A buyer and the owner of the kiosk are also implicated in the case.

A 64-year-old kiosk employee was arrested in the Omonia area on suspicion of supplying narcotics to customers from inside the shop.
The prosecuting authorities proceeded with the arrest of the elderly man following an operation carried out in Omonia Square. According to reports, the 64-year-old had placed packages containing cannabis inside the kiosk and was selling them to interested buyers.
During the operation, police also arrested a man who had arrived at the location as a buyer. Meanwhile, the owner of the kiosk was brought in for questioning and is accused of complicity in the illegal activity.
From the search conducted at the shop, quantities of cannabis were found and seized, which were packaged in small doses ready for sale.
The arrested individuals were brought before the prosecutor, whilst police continue investigations to fully investigate the trafficking network and identify any potential accomplices.
