Police officers from Loutraki division arrested a 66-year-old Greek national in Agioi Theodoroi, Corinthia, during a search of his vehicle.

A 66-year-old man was arrested by police officers from Loutraki division in the area of Agioi Theodoroi, Corinthia. The Greek national is accused of smuggling and violation of customs code.
During a search conducted on both his vehicle and his person, initial investigations revealed 59 packets of cigarettes without the required duties, intended for sale. Additionally, three packages of tobacco were found that did not bear the prescribed excise duty tax stamp.
At the same time, 24 bags, a handwritten notebook and a sum of 64 euros were seized, which was considered to have originated from illegal transactions. The 66-year-old's vehicle was also seized as a means of committing criminal acts.
The arrested man will be brought before the judiciary to answer to the charges against him.
