Two individuals aged 21 and 27 were arrested in Kos for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons. Raw cannabis, cocaine, an electronic precision scale and a metal baton were found in their possession.

Police officers from the Kos Criminal Investigation and Detection Department proceeded with the arrest of two Greek nationals, aged 21 and 27, who are accused of trading in psychotropic substances and illegal possession of weapons.
The operation was carried out following the evaluation of information concerning a drug trafficking network on the island. During the search of the locations where the two men resided, the authorities discovered significant quantities of illegal substances and equipment used for their preparation and distribution.
Specifically, 85 grammes of raw cannabis and 46.5 grammes of cocaine were seized. Also found were an electronic precision scale, a foldable metal baton, baking soda used for adulterating the drugs, as well as the sum of 1,430 euros.
The two arrested individuals were taken before the prosecutor, whilst the drugs will be sent to the Chemical Service for laboratory analysis.
