A 24-year-old was arrested in the city of Ioannina by OSKE officers, who found in his possession a replica pistol and a hood covering his entire face.

A 24-year-old Greek man was taken into custody by the prosecuting authorities in the city of Ioannina after officers from the Crime Prevention and Suppression Unit (OSKE) stopped him during a night-time patrol check.
In a search that followed, police found a hood that completely covers the face on him, as well as a pistol which was a replica of a real weapon. The fake firearm had external characteristics similar to a genuine one.
The young man was arrested for violation of the firearms law and was taken to Ioannina Police Department, where the preliminary investigation is being conducted.
