A man in Mytilene was arrested for intimidating members of the bar association and illegally possessing a hunting firearm.

A man permanently resident in Agiassos was brought in for questioning in Mytilene following a complaint of intimidating behaviour. He had contacted the Courthouse by telephone and directed threats towards representatives of the bar association.
Police officers from the local station, with support from colleagues from Polichni, conducted a search of his residence. In the presence of a judicial representative, authorities found a hunting firearm that the suspect had no right to possess.
The perpetrator was brought before prosecuting authorities facing serious charges for illegal possession of a firearm and for threats against persons.
