Two young men arrested in Larissa with over a kilogram of cannabis
Two men were arrested in Larissa whilst transporting a package containing drugs from Thessaloniki. More than 1,000 grammes of cannabis was seized.
Two young men arrested in Larissa with over a kilogram of cannabis
Two men fell into the net of prosecutorial authorities in Larissa whilst transporting a package that contained a large quantity of narcotics. Police had placed them under surveillance, as they had information about their activities.
According to what emerged, the two suspects travelled to a courier company delivery point in Larissa in order to collect a package that had been sent from Thessaloniki. Their movement had been previously detected and was being monitored by the authorities.
During the search that followed, a quantity of cannabis exceeding one kilogram was found inside the package. Police immediately proceeded with the arrest of both individuals, whilst the investigation to identify the senders and any possible trafficking network is ongoing.
The arrested individuals were brought before the prosecutor with charges relating to violations of narcotic legislation.
