Police in Thessaloniki are investigating a complaint filed at the Toumba Security Department by a 58-year-old man. According to his account, on Tuesday evening he was in the area with two relatives when a person with whom they had outstanding financial matters appeared.
The situation escalated when approximately ten people who accompanied the aforementioned individual arrived at the scene. An intense confrontation followed, which developed into a physical fight. At some point, one of those involved drew a weapon and fired a rifle shot into the air.
From the altercation, one person was injured and was transferred to Hippocrates Hospital. Information indicates that his life is not in danger and he remains there for hospitalisation.
