During an investigation into burglaries at residential properties in the Črnomelj area, detectives discovered two men suspected of criminal offences. They are aged 19 and 26 years old. The court issued a warrant to search their homes, where officers found numerous items likely originating from thefts.

Among the seized goods were forty rounds of ammunition, various pyrotechnic articles, two accordion-type musical instruments and several pieces of electric tools. Both suspects were unable to provide a credible explanation for the origin of these items. The prosecution authorities therefore believe that these items too could belong to victims of burglaries.

In addition, other items were seized, the origin of which is currently unknown. Investigators are actively gathering evidence and establishing all the circumstances of the alleged criminal offences. As the seized items are of various types, there is a possibility that they were stolen from outside the Črnomelj area as well.

Anyone who might recognise any of the seized items is asked to contact Črnomelj Police Station. They are available on telephone number 07 356 66 00 or in person at Lokve 90 in Črnomelj.
