Armed robbery in Kuzma: police seek suspect with mask and Styrian accent
A masked man robbed a security guard at a border shop in Kuzma and fled into the forest. Murska Sobota Police Department urges citizens not to approach him.
Armed robber flees into forest near border shop in Kuzma
According to Žurnal24, police were notified shortly before noon of a robbery at a border shop in Kuzma. An armed man approached a security guard, seized the day's takings, and then fled on foot behind the building in the direction of the forest.
Police immediately secured the scene of the incident and gathered initial information. Roadblocks were established in the surrounding area and an intensive search for the escaped suspect is underway.
According to information available so far, the suspect is a man approximately 170 centimetres tall, dressed in black clothing. He had a mask over his entire face with a cut-out for the eyes, and during the robbery spoke with a Styrian accent.
Murska Sobota Police Department calls for caution: "As this involves an armed person, we urge citizens to exercise appropriate caution and not attempt to make contact with him themselves."
