Officers from Črnomelj Police Station conducted home searches of two suspects, aged 19 and 26, on the basis of a court order, according to n1info.si. The suspects were identified as part of an investigation into break-ins at residential homes in the wider Črnomelj area.
During the searches, police officers seized a large quantity of stolen items, 34 rounds of ammunition and several pyrotechnic products. Two harmonicas and several pieces of electrical hand tools were also found. The suspects were unable to explain the origin of these items, so police officers suspect that these too originate from criminal offences.
Officers from Črnomelj Police Station are calling on potential victims who would recognise any of the seized items to call 07 356 66 00 or report in person to Črnomelj Police Station, Lokve 90.
The investigation is continuing. Police officers will take action against both suspects in accordance with their authority once all circumstances of the criminal offences have been established.
