Teen charged after dismembered woman found at Smyrna apartment complex

An 18-year-old was arrested Wednesday after Smyrna police found a dismembered torso at a Georgia apartment complex. Kingston Bradley faces a felony charge of concealing a death.

Dismembered torso found at Smyrna apartments; teen held without bond

An 18-year-old man is in custody after Smyrna police discovered a dismembered woman's body at the Park Valley Apartments on Valley Parkway SE on Wednesday night, atlantanewsfirst.com reports.

Kingston Bradley is charged with felony concealment of a death and is being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.

According to the arrest warrant, a witness saw Bradley carrying a plastic tub through an open area of the complex at around 8:15 p.m. When Bradley noticed the witness, he allegedly dropped the container on a dirt walkway and fled into a nearby apartment.

Inside the tub, investigators found a dismembered human torso.

A subsequent search of Bradley's apartment uncovered multiple bloodstains and a large, blood-covered saw. The apartment reportedly smelled heavily of bleach and contained a mop, a bucket of water, and a carpet cleaner.

The identity of the woman has not been released. The Smyrna Police Department says the case remains under active investigation.
