The victims and the suspect are all Kazakhstani nationals, Sharjah Police confirmed via a statement on social media.
A specialised team gathered evidence from the crime scene and tracked down the suspect in what authorities described as "record time."
Brigadier Dr. Khalifa Balhai, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Sharjah Police, said investigations established that the suspect was acquainted with the sisters. He confessed to the killings after being confronted with the evidence collected.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation, and legal proceedings against the suspect are underway.
