A 19-year-old British national from Dagenham, East London, has been arrested and formally charged in Barbados after police allegedly discovered 23.4 kilogrammes of cocaine in his possession, punchng.com reports.
Abdul-Rasheed Anjolaoluwa Oduola, of Valance Wood Road, Dagenham, was detained by the Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit over offences allegedly committed on 29 September 2026. The force announced the arrest in a statement published on its Facebook page on Friday.
Oduola faces four charges: possession of cocaine, trafficking of cocaine, intent to supply cocaine, and attempting to export cocaine.
The Barbados Police Service said the suspected cocaine weighed 23.4kg and carried an estimated street value of $1,170,000 in Barbados currency.
"The Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit has arrested and formally charged Abdul-Rasheed Anjolaoluwa Oduola, 19 years, of #145 Valance Wood Road, Dagenham, East London, United Kingdom, for the following offences committed on September 29th 2026: possession of cocaine, trafficking of cocaine, intent to supply cocaine, attempting to export cocaine," the statement read.
The source article also references a second British national — Miraldie Ndunzi, 22 — in connection with the same alleged plot, with the pair said to have been found collectively in possession of 47kg of cocaine. The Barbados Police Service statement released via punchng.com, however, addressed only Oduola's charges specifically.
