St John woman enters not guilty plea over alleged property destruction

Barbados Today reports that a 34-year-old woman from St John has pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal damage and has been ordered to return to the District 'A' Magistrates' Court No. 2 on Wednesday.

Shonelle Jalisa Walker, of Venture No. 3, is accused of damaging a watch, a window, two colognes, an air fryer, a speaker and a television — all belonging to a man named Jason Willie — on Friday.

There was no objection to Walker's release. Magistrate Manila Renee set bail at $5,000 and instructed the accused to have no contact with the complainant, who is expected to appear in court on 2 September.
