Two Wildey Men Charged Over $5,100 Robbery Released on Bail

Two Bottom Close, Wildey men accused of robbing a man of jewellery and cash worth over $5,000 have been granted bail. The case returns to court in January 2027.

Wildey pair charged with $5,100 robbery granted $7,500 bail each

Barbados Today reports that two men from Bottom Close, Wildey, accused of robbing a man of jewellery and cash totalling more than $5,100, have been released on bail and are scheduled to reappear in court next year.

Mckerie Kimo Humphrey, 32, a general worker, and Jared Robinho Powlett, 20, face charges of robbing Tariq Niles Clarke on August 19. The items allegedly taken include a chain valued at $2,100, two rings worth $1,500, and $1,500 in cash.

Magistrate Manila Renee read the charge when the matter came before the court. No pleas were entered at that stage. With no objections raised by the prosecution, both accused were each granted bail of $7,500 with surety.

The case has been adjourned to January 8, 2027.
