According to diariohuarpe.com, officers from Rural Unit No. 3 Los Médanos arrested two adult men with outstanding arrest warrants during investigative procedures and preventative patrols conducted in various zones of the San Juan department. Both had multiple criminal records, including for offences against property.
The uniformed officers had prior information about the judicial situation of the suspects, which facilitated their identification and subsequent apprehension in separate operations.
One of the detainees, identified by the surname Allende, was placed at the disposal of the Offences Against Property Specialised Unit of Investigation, an organism that will continue with the corresponding judicial proceedings.
The second arrested individual, with the surname Olmos, also an adult and with police records including acts linked to offences against property, was placed at the disposal of the Case Closure Office of the Mixed System.
Both men remain under the jurisdiction of the judicial authorities who had requested their captures. At present, no further details have emerged regarding the causes that prompted the detention orders.
