A triple homicide has shaken Monte Grande in Buenos Aires province. According to somosjujuy.com.ar, the bodies of Laura Susana Prediguer, 43, her son Santino Santillán, 11, and Susana Castillo Toscanini, 73, were found in two dwellings located on the same plot of land.

The operation began following a call to 911 reporting an emergency at a residence on Los Claveles street, number 700. Upon entering, officers from the Buenos Aires Provincial Police found Prediguer's body in the dining room and the boy's body in one of the bedrooms.

The investigation then extended to an adjacent property, connected to the first through the same plot and with access to Alfonso Amat street. There, in the kitchen, Castillo Toscanini was found lifeless.

During the procedure, investigators seized a weapon that was placed at the disposal of the Scientific Police for the corresponding forensic examinations.

The main suspect is Damián Darío Santillán, 50, Prediguer's partner for approximately 20 years, father of Santino and son of Castillo Toscanini. The hypothesis that Santillán was responsible for the three deaths remains under judicial investigation.

Whilst the initial proceedings were being conducted in Monte Grande, investigators linked the triple homicide to the death of Santillán himself, which occurred hours earlier in Burzaco, a district of Almirante Brown. The man was found dead during the morning of Tuesday in the area of Monteverde and Vallejos avenues. The circumstances of his death are also part of the investigation.

The court is also analysing a message that Santillán allegedly sent to a family member before his death, which could provide elements to reconstruct the sequence of events.

The case was assigned to UFI No. 1 decentralised from Esteban Echeverría, headed by prosecutor Ana Río. The results of the autopsies and the various forensic examinations are awaited to determine the manner in which the three deaths occurred.
