A 24-year-old man from Germany has been remanded in custody in Pinzgau. He is suspected of bringing substantial quantities of drugs into the state of Salzburg over an extended period and distributing them there. Investigators traced the alleged dealer between November 2025 and April 2026.

According to investigators' findings, the accused is believed to have transported at least four kilograms of amphetamine and the same amount of cannabis from Germany to Austria. Some of the journeys were apparently made by an accomplice. The estimated street value of the seized substance quantities is approximately 90,000 euros.

The arrest was ordered by the Salzburg State Prosecutor's Office. The 24-year-old was subsequently remanded in custody at Salzburg Prison. In the course of extensive investigations, officers identified 20 people who allegedly made purchases from him. Criminal proceedings have also been initiated against these buyers.
