A 29-year-old German was caught red-handed during a break-in in Griffen. During questioning, he admitted to further thefts at the same shop.

Since April 2026, Griffen police station has been investigating several break-ins at a food shop. On Friday at around 18:35, officers managed to apprehend a 29-year-old German man during a theft in progress.
During the subsequent interrogation, the accused admitted to earlier break-ins at the same shop. He confessed to further offences that had previously been under investigation.
Following completion of the police investigation, the man will be reported to the public prosecutor. The authority initially ordered that he be released pending trial.
