A young man was beaten at a festival site in Nußdorf ob der Traisen during the night of 4 June 2026. The 19-year-old had intervened in a dispute to mediate.
Around 2 a.m., a conflict between two groups escalated near the event site. The teenager from the St. Pölten-Land district wanted to defuse the situation. An unknown assailant struck him on the back of the head from behind and delivered two further blows to his face.
The mediator suffered tooth loss and a lacerated contusion wound. Investigators from Traismauer police station are now searching for the attacker and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. The station accepts information on 059133-3176-100, also anonymously.
