Prison sentences after bungled debt collection attempt in Linz
As on.orf.at reports, three men appeared before a Linz court for attempted intimidation and debt collection. The masked trio broke into a multi-family building in May 2026 with a blank-firing pistol.
The men wanted to collect €10,000 – allegedly on behalf of the gang "Bandidos". However, due to a name mix-up, they rang the doorbell of the wrong flat. The trio subsequently fled.
The court imposed prison sentences on all three offenders.
