During the night into Sunday, officers arrested a 53-year-old man in Vienna-Landstraße who initially drew attention by shouting loudly in front of a bar. The incident occurred near the Juchgasse police station, as MeinBezirk.at reports.
The responding officers spoke to the man, who claimed he had been watching a football match and had celebrated a goal. He subsequently allegedly insulted the officers and acted aggressively towards them. For this, he was charged with noise disturbance, disorderly conduct, and insult.
The suspect allegedly also scratched a patrol car with a knife that was parked in front of the police station. The officers then arrested him.
