According to orf.at, Vienna police are searching for an alleged rapist who attacked an 85-year-old woman in Vienna's Favoriten district during the night of Tuesday. According to police, the victim was on her way home in the area of the main railway station when she was grabbed by an unknown man at around 1:30 a.m. on Arsenalstraße.
The perpetrator dragged the woman into the courtyard of a residential building and raped her there. Passers-by heard her cries for help and immediately alerted police. "The witnesses immediately attempted to locate the victim and also observed a male person fleeing the scene on foot," said police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger.
