Officers in Vienna-Favoriten arrested an 18-year-old Russian national on Wednesday against whom an arrest warrant was in place.

On Wednesday at around 5 p.m., a police patrol in Vienna-Favoriten arrested a wanted young man. The apprehension took place at a petrol pump on Raxstraße.
The officers noticed a car at the petrol station. Two people got out and went into the shop. One of the two, an 18-year-old from Russia, was already known to the police – an arrest warrant was in place against him.
The officers intervened and arrested the young man. He was taken to a correctional facility.
