A young man physically attacked his 30-year-old partner in a flat in the tenth district. The woman fled to a neighbour.

Emergency services had to respond to the 10th district on Wednesday morning after a dispute in a family flat escalated. A 25-year-old man allegedly struck his wife, who was five years his senior, multiple times with his fists during an argument.
The 30-year-old managed to escape from the flat and fled to a neighbour. There, she called the police. The patrol arrived shortly after seven o'clock and found the woman crying and with visible injuries. The perpetrator was at that time in the flat with the couple's child.
Investigators believe that the 25-year-old had previously assaulted his partner multiple times in the past. It therefore does not appear to be the first incident.
Paramedics from the emergency service treated the injured woman and brought her to hospital. Officers arrested the husband and imposed a contact and restraining order. A temporary weapons ban was also issued. After questioning, the suspect was released on bail on the orders of the prosecution authority.
